Forget rice cooker and use this recipe to cook perfect rice pilaf for you and your family!
Preparation time – 20 minutes
Cook time – 45 minutes
Take a saucepan, place it over medium heat, add butter and olive oil. Let it melt. Then add onion and saute it. It might take you 10 minutes. Remove saucepan from the oven.
Take a 9-inch by 13-inch baking dish and place rice and previous onion mixture. Mix it well. Add salt, cayenne, chicken and pepper in the saucepan. Bring it to the boiling point and then let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour new chicken mixture over the rice in the baking dish and the mix it. Cover it with foil and place it in the oven for 35 minutes.
